Position Overview
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple store locations, managing and developing Store Managers, and ensuring that all locations meet or exceed operational, financial, and service standards. This role includes hiring, training, and monitoring performance, implementing company strategies, and maintaining brand consistency and customer satisfaction across the district.
Requirements
· Must keep cell phone on at all times for emergency response.
· Must possess a NYC Food Handler’s Certificate. Must complete and obtain within 45 days.
· General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation.
· Strong leadership and team development skills.
· Financial and sales management experience.
· HR experience (hiring, training, staff management). Able to resolve employee conflicts.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle for transportation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
· Work Schedule: Minimum 5 days / 50 hours per week in-store (or more depending on business needs) and 1 day remote for administrative tasks. In store shifts are 10 hours a day. On call at all times.
· Buffalo Wild Wings Go is a dinner focused business. The typical schedule 10am-8pm or 11am-9pm, or as the needs of the business. Of course, as District Managers, you may be required to put in more time as the needs of the business dictates. You need to be available 24-7 for our Team, and in the field as necessary to support the business.
· Must hold keys to all stores and be prepared to open/close stores as needed if there are staffing issues. You must be at the store for any emergencies.
Core Functions & Duties
Operational Oversight
· Visit 2 stores daily and submit weekly travel plans to management.
· Manage all aspects of operations across assigned locations.
· Work on the line working at the restaurants and assist store crews.
· Be on-call for emergencies, manager support, and staff issues.
· Clock in/out via each store’s timekeeping system upon arrival for timekeeping.
· Create and track operating and financial action plans per store.
· Send post-visit reports and action items to management.
· Fill in as acting manager during vacancies.
· Help new store opening and training
Performance Management
· Conduct weekly meetings with Store Managers to review sales, labor, and food costs.
· Give plan to improve and work on any deficiencies.
· New window material and activations. All stores must be 100% complete on online training courses
· Email meeting notes and weekly performance reports to management.
· Monday weekly recap reports are to be submitted to management using the provided template.
· Ensure schedules are posted 3 weeks in advance and only modified with approval.
· Effectively oversee schedules to meet sales demand.
· Educate staff on how to swap shifts through scheduling apps.
Health, Safety & Quality Standards
· Maintain A Ratings on all NYC Health Department inspections.
· No violations
· Achieve 80+ on Ecosure inspections and Pass; submit follow-up corrections online.
Customer Experience & Service
· Ensure all guest complaints are followed up with and closed.
· Enforce guest contact and hospitality as top priorities.
· Train teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and consistent product quality.
Inventory & Supply Management
· Monitor and replenish inventory across stores; transfer stock when needed.
· Move inventory from store to store if there are shortages
· Record all transfers in the back-office system to properly keep record of inventory.
· Ensure weekly inventory counts are accurate and timely.
Maintenance & Compliance
· Immediately address any repair needs.
· Assist with new store openings and staff training.
· Handle and document all employee relations and disciplinary actions.
