Production Assistant

Our sister company, Patriot Coffee Roasters, is looking to hire a Coffee Roasting Production Assistant. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is punctual and reliable, and who loves coffee! As a Production Assistant you will assist the Production Manager with weekly order fulfillment of coffee and tea orders, perform regular maintenance and cleaning, complete quality control checks and assist with production coffee roasting.
*Shifts typically run 8a.m. - 2p.m., and 2p.m. - 8p.m.
Here's a sampling of your responsibilities:
- Coffee batch preparation
- Bag labeling and printing
- Blending, grinding and packaging coffee and tea
- Tracking inventory
- Facility cleaning and maintenance
- Quality control sampling
- Shipping / Receiving
- Other duties as assigned
Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
Work schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
