As an Event Cook, you’ll play a key leadership role—supporting the Executive Chef and Team in delivering creative, high-quality food experiences while ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Execution
- Food Preparation and Service set by company operational procedures
- Monitor food temperatures, taste, and presentation
- Multi task when prepping for volume
Quality Control
- Implement waste-reduction strategies to maintain cost control
- Resolve any food quality or presentation issues quickly and effectively
Customer Service & Event Coordination
- Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service execution
- Respond to client and guest feedback with professionalism
- Uphold the highest standards of food service and guest satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role, experience within a high-volume kitchen is preferable
- Strong sense of time management, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards but also willingness to learn new techniques and standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to work independently with instruction and also as a team
- Part time, but can lead into full time for candidates proven ability to be a part of a growing team
- Available weekends mainly and early evenings.
- ServSafe Certified is a plus
