Position Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Restaurant General Manager who will oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving profitability, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Extensive contact with all employees and customers of Margaritas Cantina.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team of restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house employees.
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback to ensure team members are performing at their best.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

2. Operations Management:

• Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency.
• Implement and enforce operational procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

• Uphold the highest standards of customer service and hospitality, ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and implement strategies to exceed expectations.

4. Financial Management:

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets to achieve profitability goals.
• Analyze financial performance metrics, such as sales trends, labor costs, and food costs, and take appropriate actions to optimize profitability.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings initiatives.

5. Marketing and Promotions:

• Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and loyalty programs to drive traffic and increase sales.
• Utilize social media platforms and other marketing channels to engage with customers and promote brand awareness.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in restaurant management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training preferred.
