As a Catering Team Member, you will help prepare, organize, deliver, and serve catering orders with accuracy, care, and excellent hospitality. This position also supports restaurant operations when catering or marketing orders are not pending.
Schedule & Pay
We’re hiring for both full-time and part-time availability.
Pay: $14–$17/hour, based on experience, availability, driving eligibility, and ability to support catering, front of house, and back of house operations.
- Full-time team members are generally scheduled 32–40 hours per week, depending on business needs and team member availability. Hours are not guaranteed. Saturday availability is required.
- Part-time team members are typically scheduled 10–30 hours per week, depending on availability and business needs. Hours may vary week to week. Saturday availability is required.
Pay may increase over time based on performance, reliability, and length of service.
Scheduling Expectations
- Restaurant schedules are based on business volume, staffing needs, catering order volume, performance, and team member availability.
- Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate week to week.
- Changes to availability must be submitted in writing and may impact the number of hours scheduled.
- This position requires flexibility. Catering orders may vary by week, and team members must be willing to support restaurant operations when catering or marketing orders are not pending.

Your Role
- Prepare, package, organize, and verify catering orders for accuracy
- Gather paper goods, sauces, condiments, serving items, and other order needs
- Deliver catering orders using the company vehicle when assigned
- Represent Chick-fil-A with professionalism, care, and excellent hospitality during deliveries and setup
- Communicate clearly with guests, leaders, and team members about catering orders
- Enter or help process catering orders, forms, payments, and order details as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in catering, front of house, and back of house areas
- Support marketing orders, community events, and special orders as needed
- Flex into restaurant operations when catering or marketing orders are not pending
- Train in both front of house and back of house to support restaurant operations
- Learn and uphold Chick-fil-A’s food safety, service, and hospitality standards
What We’re Looking For
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record required
- Willing to complete a driving history check
- Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle for catering deliveries
- Able to manage time well and follow delivery instructions carefully
- Able to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to train in front of house and back of house
- Authorized to work in the U.S. All new hires must complete federal employment eligibility paperwork (Form I-9) and present documents verifying identity and work authorization.
- Willing to obtain a Food Handler Certificate (instructions provided after hire; est. cost $10)
- Willing to wear or purchase non-slip, oil-resistant shoes (can be purchased after hire)
- Available Saturdays. Flexibility required, including availability to close.
- Able to work during the holiday season, including the days before and after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
- Flexible during training. Training may last 2–4 weeks and include fewer hours.
- Willing to submit to a background check, if required
Grooming & Appearance Policy
- Earrings: up to three plain studs per ear; one plain nose stud allowed
- Hair: neat, pulled back, natural colors only
- Facial hair: trimmed, neatly groomed, maximum ½ inch (beard nets are required in kitchen to cover any facial hair)
- Nails: short, no acrylic or press-on
- Nail polish: one solid color, no designs
- Tattoos: not visible on face, neck, or behind ears; visible tattoos must not be offensive
- False eyelashes: permitted at Operator’s discretion
