Collins will be right in the heart of the festivities at Nolan Ryan Plaza.
We’re looking for Team Members to join our Food Truck Events Crew this Summer to help us serve guests from all over the world—with speed, energy, and Chick-fil-A hospitality.
About This Summer Opportunity June - July
This is a short-term, high-energy summer role designed for team members who want to:
- Be part of international sporting event excitement
- Work in a fast-paced, outdoor food truck environment
- Gain hands-on experience with Chick-fil-A and open the door to future opportunities
- Be surrounded by music, crowds, and game-day energy
Schedule & Pay
- Position Type: Summer Job (June - July event-based role)
- Hiring Timeline: Mid-to-late May
- Training: Part-time training prior to June festivities
- Pay: $10 - 12/hour
- Perk: Employee meal with every shift
Availability Expectations:
- Open availability strongly preferred (AM, mid, and PM shifts)
- Must be willing to work long, high-energy shifts during event days
- Hours will vary based on event schedules and business needs
Your Role (Food Truck Events Crew)
- Serve guests quickly and accurately from our Chick-fil-A Food Truck
- Engage with guests from around the world in a fun, energetic environment
- Maintain a positive attitude while working in tight quarters and outdoor conditions
- Help create an unforgettable Chick-fil-A experience during international events
- Work as a team to serve high volumes of guests efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- 17 years or older
- Friendly, energetic, and ready to engage with a crowd
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat
- Able to stand for long periods and move quickly in a fast-paced space
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Willing to work in a compact, high-volume environment
- Open and flexible availability during June & July events
- Willing to obtain a Food Handler Certificate (instructions provided after hire; estimated cost ~$10)
- Willing to obtain or purchase non-slip, oil-resistant shoes prior to starting shifts
Grooming & Appearance Policy
- Earrings: up to three plain studs per ear; one plain nose stud allowed
- Hair: neat, pulled back, natural colors only
- Facial hair: trimmed, maximum ½ inch
- Nails: short, no acrylic or press-on
- Nail polish: one solid color, no designs
- Tattoos: not visible on face, neck, or behind ears; visible tattoos must not be offensive
- False eyelashes: permitted at Operator’s discretion
