Job Title: Digital Print Operator
Reports To: Production Manager and/or immediate Shift Supervisor
Job Status: Full Time
Job Overview:
The operator will be responsible for the day to day print production, operator maintenance and running of associated equipment. The position requires a person who is very energetic, organized and can prioritize to accurately see each job through completion to meet daily deadlines. The operator must detail oriented while being able to multitask and work independent and in a team environment. This position is a 1st shift 5:00 am start.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Be able to work individually and with your team member while maintaining expected productivity
• Operate all printers and equipment that support print production
• Meet and exceed print production productivity standards
• Demonstrate an understanding of printer capabilities and priority schedules by routing print files to maximize print capacities
• Ensure that correct materials are being used via the Wiki and that the integrity of all jobs is verified
• Monitor quality throughout production of an application
• Be able to multi-task while maintaining quality
• Demonstrate an understanding of machine trouble shooting by performing operator adjustments and operator maintenance functions
• Ability to Print checks and perform required stock reconciliation.
• Ability to work overtime, when required
• All other duties as assigned
Administrative and Housekeeping Responsibilities
• Promptly be at your work area at the start of your shift
• Adhere to break times and scheduled hours
• Recommend process improvements that support customer and company interests
• Complete work orders completely and accurately to ensure accurate billing, reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management
• Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean
• Ensure that production materials are put away upon completion of job
• Participate in production area and facility housekeeping on a regular basis
• Maintain PTO balances
Qualifications / Skills:
• Basic computer skills and basic knowledge of arithmetic.
• Work efficiently in a production setting and be highly organized

• Be able to lift 25 lbs
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in the print industry
