Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our office runs smoothly while gaining valuable skills in accounting and office management.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:
• Work with Management in preparation of reports
• Administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
• Strong Data Entry skills with an eye for detail
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail
• Assists with UPS and FedEx shipments
• Maintain and order supplies
• Fast learner and willingness to demonstrate flexibility
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Provide general support for visitors
• All other duties or projects as assigned
Accounting Responsibilities and Duties:
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Send out past due invoice reminders to customers
• Maintain Purchase Order and Inventory System
• Maintain customer workorders and postage detail in excel
• Maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company policies
• Maintain our Internal Communication App
• Strong attention to detail
• QuickBooks Online knowledge (preferred)
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Skills:
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
• Knowledge of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping principles
• Understanding of relevant computer programs and proficiency in data entry and management
• Proficiency in Office 365 with the ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Must have exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; meeting deadlines is crucial
• Dependable, professional, and confidential
• Independent but also a great team player
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
