Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at Winston’s Tavern. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and available for use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using industrial dishwashers and hand-washing methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floors, countertops, and kitchen equipment.
- Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in their proper locations.
- Assist in the preparation of food and ingredients as needed.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
