Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation:
- Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables, meats, and other items as required for various dishes.
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared in accordance with the menu specifications.
2. Cooking:
- Sauté food items to order, maintaining high standards of speed and quality.
- Use appropriate techniques to enhance flavor, texture, and appearance of dishes.
- Monitor and adjust cooking times and temperatures to ensure all dishes are cooked properly.
3. Kitchen Organization:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping track of ingredient levels and notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks and sous chefs, to coordinate meal preparation and service.
- Share knowledge of cooking techniques and help train junior kitchen staff.
5. Food Safety:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain proper handling and storage of food items to prevent spoilage and contamination.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a sauté cook or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.

Physical Requirements:
