Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses, motor coaches, and other commercial vehicles to transport passengers on scheduled routes or special events
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering questions professionally
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and team members using radio or other communication devices for route updates or emergencies
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger (P) endorsement required; clean driving record preferred
- Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or similar roles such as school bus driving or motor coach operation
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
- Knowledge of paratransit services or limousine driving is a plus but not required
- Prior experience in delivery driving or customer service roles demonstrates reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed
- A safety-focused mindset with excellent driving skills and attention to detail
