Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- ServSafe (national) & locally food safety program certified (must pass/complete before start date)
- Minimum 1-2 years restaurant experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Leads restaurant team by providing guidance, direction and opportunity to ensure that every guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy
- Run shifts effectively to provide great food and excellent guest service
- Support the development of a high performing team, leading as a coach and mentor and develops the management skills of the management team
- Ensure the preparation and review of daily summary report to ensure cash register accuracy, maintain controllable costs based on system averages, maintain and control product inventory
- Ensures completion and daily follow-up of weekly schedule and daily deployment based on budget forecasts to meet system labor percentages
- Ensures the completion and documentation of food temperatures and product rotation as described in the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist and Product Rotation Report
- Oversees effective training and demonstration of food safety practices
- Maintains safety standards for team members and guests
- Ensures product quality and portion control to meet system standards
- Supervises the hiring and orientation of all team members
- Supervises the initial, as well as the ongoing training and development of all team members according to procedures
- Ensures restaurant compliance with Federal and State labor laws
- Coordinates and implements restaurant policies to be followed by each team member and ensures policies are consistently enforced
- Schedules and organizes team and management meetings
- Supervises to ensure guests consistently receive quality product in a timely manner to meet service time requirements
- Ensures the proper maintenance of equipment and repairs, cleaning, organization maintenance and follow-up of restaurant and grounds
- Demonstrates positive and effective role modeling for all team members through appearance and attitude
- Routinely checks emails and Culver's communications HUB and response as necessary
- Ensures accurate implementation of new products and procedures
- Ensures office, files and restaurant postings are maintained correctly, according to federal, state and system standards
- Develops and maintains a relationship within the community as a partner in local marketing events
