Our Front-of-House Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. A Front-of-House Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are executing smooth and efficient front-of-house operations and coaching/developing Front-of-House Team Members. They lead by example and set the standard for hospitality, speed, accuracy, and attentiveness to every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee Front of House operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience through hospitality, accuracy, and speed of service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in all guest-facing areas
  • Coach, train, and develop Front-of-House Team Members in real time
  • Manage shift execution including positioning, breaks, and service flow
  • Monitor service times and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency
  • Support Drive-Thru, Front Counter, Dining Room, and Mobile Order operations
  • Partner closely with Back of House leaders to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
  • Uphold Chick-fil-A values and culture on every shift


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Previous customer service or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of hospitality and operational procedures, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Dependable, coachable, and solution-oriented
  • Clear communicator with a team-first mindset
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
