Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance tasks at our restaurant. This role is essential for keeping our restaurant clean, safe, and fully operational for both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment, including kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Handle light carpentry, painting, and drywall patching as needed.
- Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies or issues that may disrupt daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and storage area for tools and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant management regarding maintenance needs and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments (hot kitchens, outdoor areas, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours, including some weekends and early mornings
