Shift Leader – Chick-fil-A Higley & Baseline
At Chick-fil-A, Shift Leaders play a crucial role in delivering operational excellence and cultivating a culture of care. Each Shift Leader oversees either the Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH) during their shift, guiding the team with purpose and clarity to ensure guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food - every time.
This position requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Shift Leaders are responsible for developing team members by coaching Trainers and Team Members, holding them accountable to our high standards, and creating a positive, results-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all FOH or BOH operations during scheduled shifts
- Provide on-the-floor coaching and leadership to Trainers and Team Members
- Maintain excellence in hospitality, food safety, speed, and cleanliness
- Proactively manage shift flow and resolve operational issues
- Communicate expectations clearly and hold the team accountable
- Promote teamwork, urgency, and a positive working environment
- Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling responsibilities
- Collaborate with Directors to implement systems and achieve performance goals

- Prior leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality is preferred (e.g., Shift Lead, Team Lead, Assistant Manager)
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work physically demanding shifts (standing, lifting, moving quickly)
- Willing to be coached and developed by senior leadership
