Role Purpose:
- The Digital Media Champion’s goal is to create an attractive and engaging social media presence for Chick-fil-A Enterprise that keeps our Restaurant top of mind with our community, while growing our sales and generating awareness of our brand.
- Content must remain on brand, align with Marketing Strategies and directives, and be contextualized to the respective audience.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure brand alignment, schedule promotions, and respond to relevant audience interactions or direct messages on social media channels.
Role-specific Responsibilities
- Create and execute content for current Social Media channels and Email Campaigns.
- Curate, edit, and publish social media posts and professional-grade photos on relevant platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Maintain and update Chick-fil-A Enterprise’s Linktree when necessary.
- Initiate new social media platform presence when appropriate.
- Maintain relevant knowledge of social media trends, marketing tactics, etc.
- Remain current on social media brand standards from Chick-fil-A Inc.
- Create, manage, and monitor a social media calendar via Google Calendar, which may extend to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Assist the Marketing Director with execution of events, marketing initiatives and partnerships.
- Connect with other Chick-fil-A Restaurants and Staff Members for marketing ideas and resources.
Core Competencies:
- Ability to create visually appealing and brand-aligned graphics and videos.
- Skilled in short-form and long-form storytelling tailored to platform formats (e.g., Instagram Reels, Facebook Posts).
- In-depth knowledge of major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Linktree)
- Understanding of best posting times, algorithm behavior, and content types per platform.
- Ability to track KPIs (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions).
- Strong understanding of Chick-fil-A Inc. brand's identity and marketing goals
- Monitors comments, DMs, and tags to respond appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with the team members to support our marketing and engagement.
- Works closely with the Marketing Director and Executive Team.
Availability:
- Flexible Schedule; typically 5-15 hours a week in addition to other operational responsibilities, when needed.
- Be available for content creation and distribution when needed as per the Marketing Director.
- When required for an in-store presence for social media marketing, the schedule will be communicated 2 weeks prior or earlier, based on the current yearly Marketing Calendar.
