Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Fileting and hand-breading chicken pieces according to standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Station Setup & Maintenance: Setting up the breading table, preparing the milk wash, and keeping the workstation clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Inventory Management: Stocking thawing cabinets and the breading table using the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and prevent waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring all breaded products meet Chick-fil-A's quality and consistency standards, and monitoring ingredient quality.
  • Efficiency During Peak Hours: Serving as the primary person responsible for breading chicken during busy breakfast and lunchtimes to meet demand.

General Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
  • Setting up Breading Table by Chick-fil-A Standards
  • Preparing Milk Wash everyday
  • Fileting and Breading Chicken in accordance with Lean Fileting and Lean Cooking
  • Be the main person breading chicken during peak times
  • Stocking Thawing Cabinets, and Breading Table using First In, First Out method
  • Duties are not limited to the above tasks

Schedule Requirements

  • Available to work Monday through Saturday
  • Must work at least 40 hours a week.
  • Able to work as early as 6:00 am & late as 11 pm
  • Must be able to close at least 4 nights a week

Important Characteristics

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Be able to communicate with co-workers and leads effectively
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 45 lbs
  • Requires filleting and hand breading of product
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace-hustle is a must!
