A Chick-fil-A Breading Team role involves hand-fileting and breading chicken to Chick-fil-A standards in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Responsibilities include setting up the breading table, preparing the milk wash, stocking ingredients, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, and ensuring product quality and consistency during busy periods. The role requires working well under pressure while adhering to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Fileting and hand-breading chicken pieces according to standardized recipes and procedures.
- Station Setup & Maintenance: Setting up the breading table, preparing the milk wash, and keeping the workstation clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Inventory Management: Stocking thawing cabinets and the breading table using the "First In, First Out" (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and prevent waste.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all breaded products meet Chick-fil-A's quality and consistency standards, and monitoring ingredient quality.
- Efficiency During Peak Hours: Serving as the primary person responsible for breading chicken during busy breakfast and lunchtimes to meet demand.

General Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
- Setting up Breading Table by Chick-fil-A Standards
- Preparing Milk Wash everyday
- Fileting and Breading Chicken in accordance with Lean Fileting and Lean Cooking
- Be the main person breading chicken during peak times
- Stocking Thawing Cabinets, and Breading Table using First In, First Out method
- Duties are not limited to the above tasks
Schedule Requirements
- Available to work Monday through Saturday
- Must work at least 40 hours a week.
- Able to work as early as 6:00 am & late as 11 pm
- Must be able to close at least 4 nights a week
Important Characteristics
- Must be 18 or older
- Be able to communicate with co-workers and leads effectively
- Stand for long periods of time
- Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 45 lbs
- Requires filleting and hand breading of product
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
