We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors throughout the day. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys keeping facilities in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, and common spaces
- Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces
- Restock supplies (paper products, soap, etc.) as needed
- Monitor and address cleaning or maintenance issues throughout the day
- Assist with trash removal and recycling
- Respond to requests for cleaning support in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to [50lbs.] and stand/walk for extended periods
