GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Assembly and Repair Associate position is full time and will work on site at the Fayetteville, NC store. Your primary responsibility will be to positively represent Lori's Ace Home & Hardware through quality, efficient assembly and delivery of products such as grills and patio furniture. This position will also be trained in repairing Stihl equipment and will become a certified Stihl technician upon successful completion of the training program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair:
- Diagnose and repair Stihl equipment after completion of training program
- Communicate effectively with Stihl customers to educate them on the repairs and how to use equipment
- Keep the repair area organized and clean
Assembly:
- Follow instructions and assemble products for the sales floor, customer orders and deliveries. Examples of products include grills and patio furniture.
- Assemble products efficiently while ensuring the finished product is accurately assembled and high quality.
Delivery:
- Using company vehicle, deliver customer orders on designated delivery days
- Ensure customer is satisfied with the delivery and product
Store Operations:
If there are no active assemblies, repairs or deliveries, the Assembly and Repair Associate may also:
- Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
- Assist with maintaining back stock levels.
- Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Minimum high school diploma
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of equipment assembly and repair experience
- Mechanically inclined and able to problem solve
- Excellent driving record, with the ability to back a trailer.
- Superior ability to read and follow assembly directions for products.
- Ability to complete assembly and repairs efficiently and with accuracy
- Friendly personality.
- Good communication skills to educate customers on equipment
- Attention to detail.
- Be professional in appearance and actions.

WAGE: $15-$17 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
