Job Description
Assistant Manager is one that consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. Our Assistant Manager's are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. Assistant Managers three main areas of focus are leading excellent shifts when needed, tracking operational systems while leading by example and setting the tone that others will follow, and manage assigned area of the business during a shift with excellence!

Responsibilities:
- Offer immediate and respectful response to customer's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Count drawers and finalize day
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Track operational systems
- Assign Team Coordinators task to ensure shift is running smoothly
- Own assigned area of focus/responsibilities during shift
- Find coverage for employee call offs
- Run shifts independently when needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Available to work all major holidays if needed
- Grit and willingness to grow strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
- Minimum 30hrs of availability and 20hrs working
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance opportunities
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Prior work experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, or prior leadership experience preferred but not required.
