Job Summary

The Operations Manager oversees the restaurant's day-to-day operations with a top priority of delivering fresh, fast, and safe food to exceed Guests' expectations. This leader acts as a champion of Chick-fil-A culture, driving both growth and operational excellence within the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:


Operational Leadership

  • Hands-on Support: Work alongside Team Members in all kitchen areas to ensure speed, accuracy, and consistent food quality.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed goals for service speed, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction using Chick-fil-A’s "Winning Hearts Every Day" strategies.
  • Communication: Maintain constant communication with other restaurant leaders to align on goals and support collective success.
  • Administrative Oversight: Execute proper security, cash handling, and control procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

Food Safety & Quality

  • Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact for food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Compliance: Review key metrics and adhere to strict checklists, procedures, and standard tools to drive continuous improvement.

Team Development & Culture

  • Coaching: Provide constructive, positive feedback to Team Members that aligns with restaurant objectives.
  • Talent Growth: Build a high-performance team by assisting with new hire training and developing current staff through active leadership.
  • Management: Address behavioral or performance issues directly and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
  • Brand Standards: Lead by example by adhering to Chick-fil-A rules and dress codes at all times.
