Job Brief:

We are currently looking for an oncall Banquet houseman to join our team. Banquet houseman responsibilities include helping to prepare and break down the event space in accordance with the Banquet Event Orders, working through the event running food, assisting the Banquet serving team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Arriving to work in a timely manner, ready to work.
• Setting up the event space and assisting with event preparation, set up and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, chairs, table linens, place settings and closing down afterwards.
• Greeting guests and helping with seating as needed.
• Helping the catering team to set up and trasnsport the food as needed through the event
• Answering guest questions or obtaining answers as needed.
• Working as a team, support other team members to ensure client satisfaction.
• Adhere to quality and safety regulations.
• Present a professional image to the client for the duration of event.
• The ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and still strive for excellence.

• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as staying on your feet for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy objects.

• Ability to follow Banquet Event Orders and instructions.
