Sales Coordinator

The Lawrence Hotel, a new full-service boutique hotel in downtown Lawrenceville, is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to support our Director of Sales and Senior Event Sales Manager. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and prepared to contribute immediately in a fast-paced hotel sales environment.
The Sales Coordinator will assist with daily sales administration, group and event bookings, client communication, proposals, contracts, reporting, and coordination with hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have previous Hilton experience and a strong understanding of full-service or boutique hotel sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the hotel sales team
- Prepare proposals, contracts, group resumes, banquet event orders, and client correspondence
- Enter and maintain accurate account, booking, activity, and event information in hotel sales systems
- Assist with group room blocks, rooming lists, pickup reports, and billing details
- Respond promptly and professionally to sales inquiries and client requests
- Coordinate site tours, client appointments, meetings, and sales activities
- Communicate booking details and changes to operations, front office, food and beverage, and other hotel departments
- Maintain organized sales files, calendars, reports, and follow-up schedules
- Assist with event detailing, pre-conference preparation, and post-event follow-up
- Support hotel opening activities, community outreach, client events, and sales initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel sales coordinator, catering coordinator, or similar hospitality experience required
- Hilton hotel experience strongly preferred
- Full-service, lifestyle, or boutique hotel experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Delphi.fdc, OnQ, Hilton R&I/RMO, MeetingBroker, or Cvent is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of group sales, catering, contracts, room blocks, and hotel operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, accuracy, follow-through, and time-management skills
- Professional, client-focused demeanor with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and general office technology
- Flexibility to assist with occasional evening or weekend client events, site tours, and hotel functions
This position is best suited for an experienced hotel sales professional who can quickly learn The Lawrence Hotel’s processes, work independently, and become a reliable resource for both the sales team and our clients.
