We are hiring friendly, guest-oriented team members! The front desk coordinator will be the first point of contact for pets & parents and will be responsible for greeting them. You’ll check pets in and out of our system, update customer profiles, and accept payment for services. You’ll work with friendly teammates in a supportive, happy work environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Your mode of operation is characterized by attention to detail and a high degree of autonomy
- Understanding the responsibility that comes with handling one's family member
- Dependable - available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Problem-solving skills
- A love for dogs is a must
- (1) Year reception experience in a veterinary/hotel setting preferred but not required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Practice superior customer service by greeting parents & dogs and consistently accepting and returning animals to delighted parents
- Excellent phone etiquette – answering phones promptly, professionally, and with a friendly smile
- Maintain an organized front desk with attention to detail while maintaining clear daily notes
- Make sure all pet parents know about our products and services
- Manage and maintain Parent & Pup records, documenting all required information to ensure we are meeting all the parent’s requests and the pup’s needs
- Takes initiative to ensure the lobby and grooming areas are kept clean and organized
- Conduct opening and closing procedures
- Follow standard cleaning procedures including proper use to chemicals to ensure a safe environment for animals and people
- Assisting in the doggy daycare play groups and kennel rooms as needed
