Our thriving dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility is seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and dependable Kennel Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for dogs
- Supervise and maintain safe, structured group play environments
- Monitor dog behavior and health, promptly reporting any concerns
- Administer medications per owner instructions
- Clean and sanitize kennels, yards, and equipment
- Support grooming team with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs
- Maintain accurate logs for feeding, medications, and incidents
- Handle laundry, dishes, and restock cleaning/pet care supplies
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our brand with professionalism
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong dog handling skills, including with large and energetic breeds
- Understanding of dog body language and playgroup safety
- High attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment
- Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation required
