Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily front of house operations, including Team Member shifts, breaks, and placement
  • Open, transition, and close the restaurant following proper procedures to ensure that the team for the current and following shift is set up successfully to serve guests
  • Respond to guest inquiries and consult with management regarding complex issues
  • Work in multiple positions of the restaurant at any given time during the day to meet business demands
  • Ensure all Chick-fil-A standards and procedures are being followed
  • Work alongside Management to ensure the business is moving forward
  • Train Team Members and ensure they are consistently monitoring food quality, temperatures, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make quick decisions on a daily basis based on the operation need at any given moment
  • Work in a fast-paced, multiple levels, high volume environment leading our team to deliver remarkable service
  • Beginner experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, iPads, and POS system.
  • Front of House Shift Lead responsibilities will include counting drawers, ensuring cash management procedures are being followed, managing breaks, cleaning checklists, and completing setups.


Note: Shift Lead responsibilities are not limited to the ones listed above and from time to time may be required to perform additional duties to support business demands




Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in quick service, hospitality, or customer service industry
  • Valid Food Handlers Card (or attain one within 30 days of your start date)
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bend and lift up to 50lbs
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Can successfully uphold and demonstrate Chick-fil-A The Gardens Values of humility, integrity, ingenuity, and perseverance

Availability/Schedule

  • Part-time or Full-time availability (20+ hours/week)
  • Available at least 4 days per week
  • Able to open (9:30 am start) or close (9:30 pm finish) at least 4 days per week


Compensation:

  • $18.00-$19.00/hour
