Part-Time / Marketing Internship (6 months)


We are looking for a Marketing & Events Lead who can take full ownership of our in-store and community marketing eff orts. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating strategies that drive sales, increase transactions, and grow brand presence in our community.


This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution. Someone who can think ahead, bring ideas to life, and follow through with strong organization and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

● Own and execute the restaurant’s marketing strategy, including promotions, events, and campaigns

● Develop and present a yearly marketing plan, broken down into quarterly focuses

● Plan and execute quarterly events and in-store activations

● Create promotions aligned with seasonal moments (e.g., graduations, Teacher Appreciation Day, Nurse Appreciation Week, holidays, etc.)

● Identify opportunities to:

○ Increase sales during non-peak hours

○ Grow average check size

○ Drive catering sales and expand guest reach

● Manage and execute social media content, including planning posts, creating content, and engaging with the community

● Build partnerships within the local community (schools, businesses, organizations)

● Use tools like Canva to create marketing materials (fl yers, social graphics, in-store signage)

● Track performance of campaigns, events, and social media; adjust strategies based on results

● Monitor results and be willing to pivot quickly when initiatives are not driving the expected outcomes

● Manage and execute within a defi ned marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI on all eff orts

● Build and maintain spreadsheets for planning, tracking, and reporting

● Collaborate with leadership to align marketing eff orts with business goals

● Execute events on-site and ensure smooth, high-quality guest experiences


Skills and Qualifications

● Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects at once

● Highly organized and detail-oriented

● Creative thinker who can bring fresh, outside-the-box ideas

● Comfortable owning projects from idea to execution

● Ability to analyze results and adjust quickly based on performance

● Financial awareness with the ability to work within a set budget

● Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms

● Experience with Canva (or similar design tools)

● Willingness to learn internal systems, including the Chick-fi l-A mobile app and marketing tools

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

● Comfortable creating and presenting plans (quarterly and yearly)

● Self-starter with a high level of accountability


Additional Information

● Location: In-person

● Rate: $18 - $19 per hour

● Hours:

○ Part-time 10- 15 hours a week

■ The Marketing & Events scope is approximately 10–15 hours per week. Candidates may have the opportunity to increase hours by supporting Front of House operations, depending on availability and business needs.

○ Students seeking a marketing internship

■ 6-month internship

■ Top-performing interns may be offered a permanent role with Chick-fi l-A The Gardens based on performance, ownership, and results
