We are currently transitioning our space into a brand-new concept, and we’re looking for high-energy people to help us bring it to life once we open! We are moving
towards launching a spirited, Southwestern-inspired cantina that is heavily BBQ-forward. The vibe is casual and modern, centered around the idea of a community gathering spot where the grit of a Texas smokehouse meets the energy of a Mexican cantina. While we’re evolving our identity, we’re dedicated to keeping the quality- not just in the ingredients, but with our staff as well! The menu will contain things like slow-cooked meats, Tex-Mex and Southwestern inspired dishes, and some fan favorites from our other restaurants. This will be a menu that is inclusive of gluten-free and allergen-friendly diets, so we’re looking for people who are as committed as we are to providing a safe environment for the guests who have these requests. On the bar side, we will have many kinds of beers, a menu of crafted cocktails, and a heavy focus on fresh margaritas. We need a team that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys the hospitality industry as we aren’t looking for corporate robots; we want people with personality! Especially people who can help us establish a new culture from day one, and people who can make the workplace feel like a haven, rather than a chore. TITLE/JOB DESCRIPTION: Busser
Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Do you stay level-headed under pressure and have a self-starter work ethic? Apply with us, and let’s get you on the floor!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables and benches immediately after guests depart to ensure quick turnover
- Support the service team by refilling water when possible and clearing used dishes throughout the meal
- Maintain cleanliness of the floors, restrooms, and patio areas
- Reset tables according to the restaurant’s specific layout
- Keep the dining room floor free of debris and spills
- Assist in transporting heavy bus tubs to the dishwashing station
- Empty trash bins in the kitchen and dining room
- Complete other basic duties assigned by the manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- A "hustle" mentality and the ability to work at a fast pace
- Physical stamina to be on your feet for long shifts and lift heavy items
- A team-first attitude and a high standard for cleanliness
- Reliability and punctuality for all assigned shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (bus tubs and kegs)
- Understanding of basic sanitation and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Fluency in English
- Driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- Desire and ability to be cross-trained in other areas of the restaurant
