We are currently transitioning our space into a brand-new concept, and we’re looking for high-energy people to help us bring it to life once we open! We are moving

towards launching a spirited, Southwestern-inspired cantina that is heavily BBQ-forward. The vibe is casual and modern, centered around the idea of a community gathering spot where the grit of a Texas smokehouse meets the energy of a Mexican cantina. While we’re evolving our identity, we’re dedicated to keeping the quality- not just in the ingredients, but with our staff as well! The menu will contain things like slow-cooked meats, Tex-Mex and Southwestern inspired dishes, and some fan favorites from our other restaurants. This will be a menu that is inclusive of gluten-free and allergen-friendly diets, so we’re looking for people who are as committed as we are to providing a safe environment for the guests who have these requests. On the bar side, we will have many kinds of beers, a menu of crafted cocktails, and a heavy focus on fresh margaritas. We need a team that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys the hospitality industry as we aren’t looking for corporate robots; we want people with personality! Especially people who can help us establish a new culture from day one, and people who can make the workplace feel like a haven, rather than a chore. Even if you come into your position not knowing everything, we provide plenty of training and coaching to make sure that you feel confident- because when you’re confident, you’re successful. TITLE/JOB DESCRIPTION: Food Runner


Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment? Do you stay level-headed under pressure and have a self-starter work ethic? Apply with us, and let’s get you dancing with some trays!



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables immediately
  • Verify that every plate matches the ticket and quality standards
  • Describe dishes to guests upon delivery and answer basic questions
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo window
  • Complete other basic duties assigned by the manager



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical stamina to be on your feet for long shifts and lift heavy items
  • A high standard for cleanliness
  • Reliability and punctuality for all assigned shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Ability to carry heavy trays (up to 30 lbs.) through a crowded room
  • Thorough knowledge of the menu, including all ingredients and allergens
  • Capability to work at a high speed in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication skills with both chefs and servers
  • Fluency in English
  • Driver's license or reliable transportation
  • Desire and ability to be cross-trained in other areas of the restaurant
