Brown Iron Brewhouse, named "Best Beer Bar" in Michigan for multiple years, is seeking a talented General Manager to join our team. As the General Manager, you will oversee the operations of our beer-centric smokehouse and tap house. With our modern twist on German beer halls, you will have the chance to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement standard operating procedures
- Ensure staff know and adhere to established codes of practice
- Maintain employee records
- Oversee monthly inventory reporting
- Co-ordinate restaurant operations during each shift
- Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen and restaurant
- Keep records of health and safety practices
- Ensure alcohol regulations are adhered to
- Ensure quality of food and beverage presentation
- Interact with customers to handle inquiries and complaints promptly
- Analyze food and beverage costs
- Ensure accurate completion of cash management procedures
- Implement and oversee cost-cutting measures
- Plan and monitor restaurant sales and revenue
- Organize and supervise all special events
- Determine and execute operating improvements
- Check and order supplies of non-food items
- Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services
- Identify and evaluate competitors and keep current with trends in the restaurant industry
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
