Full Time or Part Time - Educational Center Assistant

Sylvan Learning is looking for an Educational Center Assistant to manage and oversee the center. This is a unique position where you get to experience sales, customer service, management, and marketing every day. Every day looks a little different so you don't have to worry about getting bored. The candidate selected will play a key part in the success of growing the center and enriching the lives of many students and families.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications include:

• Professional sales experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills 
• Ability to execute a main departmental administrative role 
• Gets upset when excuses are given 
• Loves learning new ways to market business and grow contacts 
• Gets stuff DONE! Sets a goal then take action to conquer it! 
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented 
• Willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done 
• Is always learning, growing, and being stretched 
• Is comfortable with multiple technology platforms (Microsoft Office Suites, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) 
• Able to teach in Sylvan curriculum in small groups
• Is a naturally gifted communicator 
• Works hard, but also likes to have F.U.N. while getting things done! 
• Be prepared to bring your personality with you all day, every day.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher 

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time:

• Monday-Thursday (Flexible schedule, come in later and close or open and leave earlier)
• Every other Friday and every other Saturday (shorter day)
• Evenings required
