As a cook at Slim Chickens, you will:
- Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
- Prepare workstations for cooking.
- Handle and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Ensure the quality of ingredients.
- Utilize various cooking techniques to prepare ingredients.
- Cook food using culinary expertise.
- Arrange food for appealing presentation.
- Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders.
We expect our cooks to have great attention to detail and maintain a clean kitchen environment while working alongside our kitchen staff. Exceptional service is our priority, and we rely on our cooks to contribute to this goal. Candidates with a diploma from a culinary school will be given preference.
Cook Job Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cook.
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures.
