Facilities Coordinator

Role Description


The Facilities Coordinator oversees building upkeep, safety, functionality of

all restaurant equipment, building systems, and physical assets; including the property grounds. The

Facilities Coordinator is expected to lead by example and treat everyone with honor, dignity, and

respect. They will ensure the location(s) are clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This role

is critical for managing repairs and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for both guests and

Team Members.


Responsibilities

  • Represent, protect, and support the Franchised location, Chick-fil-A Plymouth - SWP Hospitality Group, and the Chick-fil-A brand.
  • Serve on the floor or in the kitchen when needed
  • Oversee and perform routine maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, inspections, and large projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and respond proactively to potential issues
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and building systems
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and order parts as needed
  • Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to minimize operational disruptions
  • Work closely with the operations team to support smooth restaurant performance
  • Participate in quarterly Deep Clean days at the store
  • Ensure the property grounds are in good order (trash and debris free, noting any pavement, curbs, or paint issues)


Areas of Emphasis

  • Maintain and troubleshoot all kitchen and operational equipment to minimize downtime
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment life
  • Respond quickly to repair needs to keep the kitchen productive
  • Ensure the building’s structure, utilities, and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) are safe, functional, and well-maintained
  • Proactively inspect for issues like leaks, wear, or damage and address them quickly
  • Support a clean, comfortable, and fully operational environment for both guests and team members
  • Maintain exterior areas such as parking lots, landscaping, signage, lighting, and waste disposal
  • Ensure the restaurant presents a clean, inviting environment for guests at all times
  • Identify hazards or wear-and-tear issues before they affect the guest experience
  • Build strong relationships with service vendors for repairs, maintenance, inspections, and supplies
  • Schedule and follow up on work orders and project timelines
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective service and resolve issues promptly


Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have flexible availability including Saturdays
  • Prior food safety experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Complete repetitive tasks
  • Be able to perform all functions of the job physically
