Director of Business Analytics

Fully remote position; travel required on an as-needed basis.

Summary: Strategic data analytics role that leverages syndicated and internal data to deliver executive-ready insights, dashboards, competitive analysis, and advanced modeling to drive brand performance. Partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, it translates business objectives into measurable KPIs, supports go-to-market execution and new item launches, and provides data-driven recommendations to identify growth opportunities.


Duties & Responsibilites:


Sales Data & Analytics

  • Serve as subject matter expert on syndicated data (Circana, Numerator, Stackline) and translate insights into compelling, executive-ready narratives. Analyze sales performance (revenue, pipeline, win rates, forecasting accuracy)
  • Build dashboards and reports for Sales Leadership and Executive Team
  • Lead competitive and market performance analysis
  • Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Leverage CPG experience within the Food, Drug, and Mass (FDM) channel to inform strategy and performance optimization.
  • Develop advanced analytical models to support strategic decision-making (trend analysis, scenario modeling, what-if analysis)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Marketing
  • Assist in creating selling materials for presentations and sales submissions
  • Translate business objectives into measurable KPIs and actionable analytical insights
  • Support go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Partner cross-functionality to support new item launches, promote planning, and performance tracking


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Strategy or Business Analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience analyzing large, complex datasets
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated CPG experience within the Food, Drug, and Mass (FDM) channel required
