Summary: Strategic data analytics role that leverages syndicated and internal data to deliver executive-ready insights, dashboards, competitive analysis, and advanced modeling to drive brand performance. Partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, it translates business objectives into measurable KPIs, supports go-to-market execution and new item launches, and provides data-driven recommendations to identify growth opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilites:
Sales Data & Analytics
- Serve as subject matter expert on syndicated data (Circana, Numerator, Stackline) and translate insights into compelling, executive-ready narratives. Analyze sales performance (revenue, pipeline, win rates, forecasting accuracy)
- Build dashboards and reports for Sales Leadership and Executive Team
- Lead competitive and market performance analysis
- Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Leverage CPG experience within the Food, Drug, and Mass (FDM) channel to inform strategy and performance optimization.
- Develop advanced analytical models to support strategic decision-making (trend analysis, scenario modeling, what-if analysis)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Marketing
- Assist in creating selling materials for presentations and sales submissions
- Translate business objectives into measurable KPIs and actionable analytical insights
- Support go-to-market strategy and execution
- Partner cross-functionality to support new item launches, promote planning, and performance tracking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Strategy or Business Analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience analyzing large, complex datasets
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and go-to-market strategies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated CPG experience within the Food, Drug, and Mass (FDM) channel required
