Responsibilities and Duties
- Help with all functions related to quality control for operations in the facilities and specifically the production department.
- Assist in conducting daily checks on all active production lines.
- Provide production workers with training and regular quality reviews.
- Help with required Quality Control documentation and quality checks on receiving and may be authorized to release components/finished products if specifications are met.
- Assist with Swab Laboratory Program at TMR.
- Reviews completed batch records before final review.
- Aid in review and sign off logbook transactions.
- Manage Water Testing Program.
- Assist with managing calibration program for scales.
- Authorized to conduct certain QC functions in absence of QA Specialist if trained.
- Assist with shipping clerk responsibilities in shipping when available.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have at least a high school diploma, but some college or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of 21 CFR 111 and 117.
- Prior Food or Dietary Supplement background also helpful.
- Must possess good writing and communication skills.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and possess computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to speak, write, and communicate in Spanish a plus.
