Opportunity


As the HR & Administration Director you will oversee all HR functions within our fast-paced business; in addition, we plan to add a second location opening Spring, 2025. You will help create and drive a workplace that values people, accountability, and continual growth. Your role will be pivotal to our talent strategy across the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention while grounding your approach in our positive and encouraging culture and aligning to Chick-fil-A values.


Your impact:

  • Oversee all HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, accountability, retention, development, talent pipeline, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement people systems that align with our values, business strategy and vision
  • Partner with leadership to elevate talent acquisition, training, and retention
  • Ensure compliance with Michigan labor laws, minor labor laws, and other federal/state regulations
  • Monitor employee benefits, insurance, and retirement plans with third-party administrators
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Director team on legal and HR topics
  • Process and manage all aspects of payroll
  • Maintain up-to-date federal and state documentation on all employees
  • Ensure office is clean, organized, and appropriately stocked

Background Profile / Experience

  • Associate Degree required: (Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred) or Associates degree in Business Administration with HR certifications)
  • 1+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • People leading experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Michigan HR and labor compliance (required)
  • Excellent with attention to detail and organization skills
  • Restaurant experience not necessary as this role will not require restaurant operations
  • References required

Job Type: Hourly

25 Hours

  • Parttime to Fulltime

Pay

  • Starting at $25 an hour (Negotiable based on experience and background)
