The Front of House (FOH) Director is responsible for leading all guest-facing operations, ensuring an exceptional and consistent
Chick-fil-A experience in the dining room, front counter, and drive-thru. This role develops and coaches leaders and team members, drives operational excellence in speed, accuracy, and hospitality, and creates systems that elevate service and efficiency. The FOH Director sets the tone for culture, accountability, and the guest experience while partnering with leadership to grow sales, develop people, and execute the business's vision.
FOH Director Responsibilities
- Lead all Front of House operations, including Drive-Thru, Front Counter, and Dining Room
- Ensure exceptional guest experience through hospitality, accuracy, and speed of service
- Develop, coach, and hold FOH leaders and team members accountable
- Build and maintain strong systems for daily operations and shift execution
- Monitor and improve key metrics (customer experience scores, drive-thru times, accuracy, sales)
- Partner with the leadership team on business strategy and growth initiatives
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Identify and develop future leaders within the FOH team
- Create a positive, high-performance culture aligned with Chick-fil-A values
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment (restaurant experience preferred)
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop others
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
