Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Group Sales Manager to lead our group sales efforts. This role is responsible for generating revenue through group bookings, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events and stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract group business, including corporate, SMERF, and association markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel planners, and local organizations.
- Conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with the catering, events, and front office teams to ensure client satisfaction and operational success.
- Track sales performance and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in group or event sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of sales systems (Delphi, CI/TY, or similar) is a plus.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence.
