Position Summary
The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food accurately, efficiently, and enthusiastically while ensuring every guest receives an outstanding dining experience. Food Runners act as the final quality checkpoint before food reaches the guest and serve as an extension of the kitchen and service teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests.
- Verify plate presentation, accuracy, and completeness before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding menu items and answer basic food-related questions.
- Assist servers in providing exceptional hospitality and service.
- Ensure tables have all necessary condiments, utensils, and accompaniments.
- Monitor guest needs and communicate requests to servers and managers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo lines, service stations, and dining areas.
- Assist with table maintenance and guest interactions as needed.
- Support opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
