You manage the pulse of the dining room, ensuring our guests feel seen and valued from the moment they walk in until their final "thank you" on the way out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Air Traffic Control: Manage the floor flow using OpenTable, balancing guest wait times with server capacity and kitchen pace.
  • The First Impression: Greet every guest with genuine warmth. Manage the entryway to ensure it remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • The Hand-Off: Escort guests to their tables, present menus with a brief "story" of our casual fine-dining approach, and introduce their server by name.
  • Communication Hub: Handle phone inquiries and reservations with professional etiquette. Act as the vital link between the front door and our operation.
  • Team Support: In a grit-based culture, no one stands still. During lulls, you’ll assist with polishing glassware, resetting tables, or running chips and salsa to keep the momentum going.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Presence: A polished, professional appearance and a confident, well-spoken demeanor.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with modern reservation systems (preferred) and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Stamina: Ability to stand and move with purpose for 6–8 hours.
  • Certifications: Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications.
  • The "Grit" Factor: A proven ability to stay calm, kind, and organized when things get loud.
