The Human Resources Director reports directly to the Owner/Operator and oversees HR documentation and initial screening of applicants as well as assisting in Operations as needed. The Human Resources Director has responsibility over the documentation of training and performance of our team members and leaders and maintaining I-9 documentation and promoting/safeguarding the culture of the restaurant. The decisions of the Human Resources Director will be made in an effort to value our guests and our team members while maintaining our culture of care and excellence. Being bilingual, while not necessary, is a plus.


Key metrics: Turnover/Retention and Leadership Development Pipeline


o  Help manage turnover and retention

o  Observing operations and reinforcing weekly initiatives as determined with Operator

o  Team Member Documentation

•  Attendance and time off records

•   Accountability Documentation and Disciplinary Point System records

•   I-9 verification

•   New Employee onboarding and orientation

o  Facilitating Team Member Engagement and Wellbeing

•   Performing bi-annual team member engagement survey

•   Taking action based on engagement survey results

•   Perform team member wellbeing check-ins

o  Preparing for and meeting weekly with Operator

o  Uniform administration and inventory

•   Uniforms for new employees

•   Maintain inventory and order new uniforms as necessary

o  Culture

•   Lead by example in culture of care and excellence

•   Coach leaders on importance of guarding culture within the restaurant

•   Educate team members and leadership team on culture initiatives
