The Environmental Services Floor Care Specialist is responsible for performing specialized cleaning and floor care. Operates and maintains powered cleaning equipment, ensures proper sanitation, and supports environmental service projects. Adheres to protocols and established procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain powered cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and extractors, to strip, wax, polish, and deep clean floors.
- Assist with various environmental services projects to support cleanliness standards.
- Follow all control protocols and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with facilities cleanliness and safety policies.
- Support team members and collaborate to complete assigned projects efficiently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous environmental services experience preferred, but training is provided
- Ability to operate powered cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must clear pre-employment background and drug screening
