Black Bear Talent - Immediate Brazer Needed

As a Brazer, you will interpret schematics, braze and solder components, and ensure that projects adhere to safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and enhance your mechanical knowledge.
Starting pay $24.53 - 2nd shift and $25.03 - 3rd shift.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for ductwork and piping systems
- Braze and solder components together
- Perform pipe threading and plasma cutting tasks
- Adhere to codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Operate press brake machines for metal sheet bending
- Utilize machining tools to fabricate and modify parts
- Assemble and install components according to specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in brazing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and HVAC systems knowledge
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and safety regulations in ductwork and piping
- Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screens
- Must have good attendance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual labor.
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Dexterity in handling small tools and machine components.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially noisy manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and noise in the production area.
- Compliance with all company safety and environmental protocols is required.
