Electrical Assembler

Position Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our industrial manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical wiring and assembly tasks related to chiller units, ensuring compliance with wiring diagrams, safety codes, and production standards.


1st Shift Pay - $23.53, 2nd Shift Pay - $24.53, 3rd Shift Pay - $25.03 - THERE IS NO GUARANTEE WHAT SHIFT YOU WILL BE ASSIGNED.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams specific to chiller systems.
  • Perform electrical wiring, connections, and terminations for motors, sensors, compressors, controllers, and other chiller components.
  • Mount and install control panels, relays, circuit breakers, contactors, and related hardware.
  • Inspect wiring installations for compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies and components using testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • Work closely with mechanical assemblers and engineering staff to meet production timelines.
  • Follow all company safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any material or quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational certification in electrical or industrial technology preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical wiring, preferably in HVAC or chiller manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, multimeters, and wiring crimpers.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms when needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with UL/NEC standards for industrial equipment.
  • Prior experience working with HVAC units, or industrial refrigeration systems.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing floor with exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Requires standing, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift.
