Black Bear Talent is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Order Picker to join our clients warehouse team. This position is ideal for a dependable individual with previous warehouse experience, strong forklift skills, and a proven history of reliability and longevity in past positions.
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Hours: 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using pick lists and warehouse inventory systems.
- Verify product quantities and inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet productivity and accuracy goals in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience is required.
- Previous warehouse experience using an RF Scanner is required.
- Experience with order picking or piece picking is required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Stable work history demonstrating dependability and longevity with previous employers.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
