FOLDER OPERATOR
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Expected Overtime,
- Starting Pay: $13.50/hour
Your Role
A Folder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folding machines used in the production process. The operator ensures that materials (such as printed sheets, garments, or packaging materials) are properly folded, processed, and prepared for the next stage of production or shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate folding machines according to job specifications.
- Review job instructions to determine fold type, size, sequence, and packaging requirements.
- Adjust machine settings
- Monitor machine performance
- Stack, bundle, or prepare folded items for packaging or shipment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and production guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (often preferred).
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and follow instructions.
- Good attention to detail a MUST.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials when needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move actively during your shift
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and basic computer/data entry skills
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, picking/packing, receiving, or shipping is a plus
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
