Black Bear Talent is hiring for Day Shift - Housekeepers to support our clients commitment to high standards of cleanliness. This role is responsible for handling hotel housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests
Must be available to work weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairways to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Restock guest rooms with essentials such as linens, towels, toiletries, and other amenities
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and drapery
- Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized, clean, and fully stocked
- Replace linens and assist with sorting, counting, and storing clean laundry
- Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost and found items to management
- Follow all safety and security procedures to protect guests, staff, and property
- Assist with maintaining outdoor areas such as entrances, walkways, and pool areas when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial environments preferred
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team based
- Consistent attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing equipment for extended periods
- Availability for structured shifts including weekend and holiday rotation
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
- High School Diploma or GED
