We’re Looking for Welders Who Bring the Heat! Black Bear Talent is seeking multiple welder roles for our client. This position will work Monday - Thursday 3rd Shift from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
Welder Responsibilities:
- Follow production orders to prepare parts, tack, and weld components into completed assemblies
- Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documentation while meeting defined quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
- Properly maintain and care for tools and equipment assigned to perform duties
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of welding experience or commensurate education from a trade school
- Capable of MIG and TIG welding parts and pipe
- Ability to read and prepare WPS and interpret technical drawings
- Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork
- Methodical, organized, and precise work style
- Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing solutions
- Ability to work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching
- Ability to perform in an industrial environment with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, dust, noise, and vibration, and ability to work from elevated platforms or in cramped quarters including inside welds
- Ability to wear required PPE including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear, welding helmet, welding gloves, welding sleeves or jacket, and welding apron or chaps
- MIG and TIG at 6G preferred
- Minimum of 1 year pipe welding experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
