About the role
We're looking for a sharp, self-directed Office Manager to be a key player in our business operations. This is a true jack-of-all-trades role. You'll touch shipping and receiving, vendor purchasing, basic HR and accounting, and front-office functions all in one day. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, keeping administrative functions running smoothly across a fast-paced shop environment
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory — coordinating with vendors and carriers to ensure materials and orders move without disruption
- Handle purchasing needs, from sourcing and quotes to purchase orders and vendor relationships
- Support HR functions including onboarding, employee recordkeeping, and benefits administration
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable, invoicing support, and expense reconciliation
- Serve as the first point of contact for calls, visitors, and general inquiries, representing the company professionally
- Take on special projects and support leadership with a wide range of operational needs as the business grows
Experience
Required:
- Comfortable wearing many hats and switching contexts throughout the day
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter mindset
Preferred:
- Prior experience in an office management role
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Experience with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, freight carriers) and basic logistics documentation
