About the role

We're looking for a sharp, self-directed Office Manager to be a key player in our business operations. This is a true jack-of-all-trades role. You'll touch shipping and receiving, vendor purchasing, basic HR and accounting, and front-office functions all in one day. If you thrive on variety, take pride in keeping things running without being asked twice, and want a visible impact in a small company, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, keeping administrative functions running smoothly across a fast-paced shop environment
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory — coordinating with vendors and carriers to ensure materials and orders move without disruption
  • Handle purchasing needs, from sourcing and quotes to purchase orders and vendor relationships
  • Support HR functions including onboarding, employee recordkeeping, and benefits administration
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable, invoicing support, and expense reconciliation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for calls, visitors, and general inquiries, representing the company professionally
  • Take on special projects and support leadership with a wide range of operational needs as the business grows

Experience

Required:

  • Comfortable wearing many hats and switching contexts throughout the day
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter mindset

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in an office management role
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, freight carriers) and basic logistics documentation

Work schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift
